Borealis Data Center is proud to announce its newest HPC (High Performance Compute) building in operation, which will increase our prior capacity by 12MW, elevating processing power considerably. This welcome addition to the Blönduós campus will accommodate up to 50kW rack density, while being designed to maintain PUE levels as low as 1.03 - ensuring energy efficiency throughout.

Marcel Mendes da Costa, Chief Operations Officer at Borealis, was adamant at the beginning of construction that, despite world restrictions, the work would come together nicely, adding: "From the first shovel breaking ground until the last fiber and bolt being fastened our team will be working closely with our strong partners, while our organized approach and experience guarantee the quality of the building."

Our new HPC building is located at our Blönduós site in Iceland.
