Borealis Data Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Elfa Björg Aradóttir as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Elfa joins Borealis from Ístak, where she has been a driving force behind the company’s financial strategy and impressive growth trajectory over the past eight years. 

Elfa brings a wealth of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and process optimization to Borealis. At Ístak, Elfa played a pivotal role in steering the company through significant expansions and implementing innovative financial processes resulting in remarkable revenue growth for the company. Her expertise in the construction industry, particularly in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, will be invaluable as Borealis continues strategic expansion of its facilities. 

As a licensed auditor with a Master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing from Reykjavík University, Elfa’s expertise extends beyond financial control to include strategic change management and business intelligence reporting. Her career also includes a decade at KPMG ehf., where she served as senior manager, overseeing large-scale projects and contributing to international collaborations.
